My journey to a career in Digital Media started when I was in middle school and was intrigued by a computer animation class on Saturdays. I was always a good student but I had never concentrated or related to my classes or such small details before this. My career aspirations changed a bit after I saw the movie, Toy Story by Pixar for the first time. It was then that I knew that 3D modeling and graphic design were subjects I wanted to study. With these goals in mind, I landed at Drexel University, in Philadelphia, excelled there for four years and graduated with honors and a degree in Digital Media.
Drexel taught me not just about one medium but many, providing me a different prospective and a different way of approaching design solutions than your average person. I learned the art of the 2D, as well as the 3D world. Since graduating, I used all the skills that Drexel equipped me with in various fields, some of which I didn’t even know existed. I have worked on everything from direct marketing to promotion gifts, page layouts for a sports magazine and the creation of deal toys for bankers.
I have over five years experience in Digital Art. In that time, I have successfully found creative solutions that fit company needs. I am able to find the most effective way to get messages across in print as well as electronic media using color, type, illustration, photography and animation.
